I was really looking forward to watching this but was so disappointed with it well before the half way mark. The decision to make it look like it was shot in one take was the wrong one. I gave it a 5 for the musical score and the fact that it was just a middle of the road war movie. Mendes may have had an emotional attachment to the story, it's a pity none of it transpired to the screen.
